BOTOX is good or bad? Is it dangerous? Let’s get this TABU!

We welcome you in the new section of Biiang dedicated to aesthetic medicine.
We will talk about new approaches to improving the problems related to skin aging.
Today we will start by talking about what products to use to remove facial wrinkles.

We will talk about botox, the dangerousness of botox, the differences between the various types of botulinum toxin.

We are announcing that all treatments must be carried out by SPECIALISTS IN THE FISCUATION OF FILLER, TOSSINA BOTULINICA, BIOMIMINATION AND ALL THE ANITY INTHETIC MEDICINA.
There is a growing desire for DIY in this field. DON’T BE BULLSHIT! IT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS!

There are several “weapons” that the aesthetic doctor can use to combat the loss of tone and the formation of mild, medium and deep wrinkles:

The term botox refers to the commercial product based on 100 units of botulinum toxin of TYPE A.
This product is not saleable or available in pharmacies because it is in a hospital nature. Well, yes. As far as we may think, botulinum toxin is widely used in the medical field, especially at the neurological level.
It can be very useful in case of spinal-related pathologies. Also used in migraines resulting from a compromise of the neurological component.
Other use is in the Hyperhidrosis, a disabling pathology that involves an increase in the secretion of the sweat glands at the level of the armpits and feet in the first place.
The use of botulinum toxin for aesthetic medicine SHOULD be limited, as per leaflet, to the corrugator muscles and to the upper part of the face (top third).

How does botox work? what effects does it produce? Is it really dangerous?

acts by blocking nerve impulses directed at all the muscles where it has been
Injected. This helps to prevent muscle contraction, resulting in paralysis
temporary and reversible.
is used for temporary improvement in the appearance of:
Vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows observed at maximum corrugation and/or,
fan wrinkles at the corner of the eyes observed at the maximum smile and/or,
Frontal wrinkles observed at maximum elevation of the eyebrows,
when the severity of facial wrinkles has an important psychological impact in adult patients.

However in the world of aesthetic medicine, botulinum toxin is used in full-face treatments (all face) such as: perioral wrinkles (marionette), periorbital wrinkles (crow’s feet), frontal wrinkles, bar code wrinkles (lip area). The concept of
meso-botox
has recently been introduced and widely used,
where the botulinum toxin is “diluted” and injected together with a bio-stimulating complex.
Meso-botox is OFF-LABEL (there are no studies of proven efficacy and therefore “out law”).

The botanical toxins, for aesthetic use, used by doctors in ITALIA are:

V

stabex

50 U.I. Produced by ALLERGAN company equipped with 50 international units.
It remains among the most used toxins and most loved by Italian doctors. Its storage is STRICTLY in the fridge at a temperature between 2/8 degrees Celsius. 2 out of 4 toxins should be kept “in the cool”. We’ll explain why later.
The tossin, in its containing envelope, appears transparent, as if the bottle were empty. It is normal reports the manufacturer. This is because the tossin is lithe (a process that deprives pharmaceutical solutions of water content. The active ingredient
remains in microscopic powder). The reconstitution of vistabex is done by means of physiological solution 0.9% 1.25cc. This dilution refers to the use in the distension of the mimic facial muscles (corrugator).
For the injection it is good to use suitable needles that have a sharp and “decisive” tip. We recommend BD needles or 30g x 12mm. The length of the needle is crucial to get to the central site of the muscle.
Smaller needles such as 31g/32g x 6mm can also fit. It still depends on the patient’s skin thickness. A man will have a thicker skin than a woman.
Remember that the diameter of the needles are inversely proportional to the gauge. The smaller the gauge, the larger the inner diameter of the needle.
(Example: 18 gauge needle has very large diameter. Pink.
A needle of 25 gauge has a smaller diameter than the 18. Its color is orange.)

Azzalure

125 Speywood. Produced by GALDERMA, which always has 50 units but is measured in the form of a speywood unit. A vial contains 125 speywood units of toxin from C. botulinum type A. In medical practice, the azzalure has 50 units and must be reconstituted with half of physiological solution 0.9% compared to vistabex.
Its dilution will be equal to 0.63 ml with physiological solution. As with vistabex, the azzalure should also be kept in the fridge at a temperature of between 2/8 degrees Celsius.

Bocouture, In 50 and 100 U.I. Produced by Merz, bocouture is the most distinctive tossin. Dilution such as Vistabex with physiological solution 0.9% ( 1.25cc).
Unlike the two previously treated, this should not be kept in the fridge.
The reason is to be found in its particular chemical structure that, thanks to a patent designed by MERZ, allows it not to degrade at room temperature and to resist up to 25 degrees Celsius and beyond.
The botulinum toxin under the microscope, is wrapped in other ancillary proteins that prevent its denature. In Bocouture such proteins are not present. That’s why it should not be kept in the fridge. The “protective” proteins of botulinum toxin present in Vistabex and Azzalure, make the products thermolable and therefore mandatory to store in the fridge.
For years it has been claimed that the complex proteins found in botulinum toxin preparations were useful in protecting and stabilizing active neurotoxin.
This concept has now been overcome because the complexproteins dissociate from the active tosin within one minute of the injection, so, having a very short duration, they have no function, neither protective, nor to make the tousin more stable.
It has been scientifically proven that complex proteins being bacterial impurities are not necessary for successful treatment, and on top of that, they can cause immune reactions, stimulating the formation of antibodies that neutralize the effect botulinum toxin, causing treatment to fail.
Bocotoure, unlike other toxins, is purified by such proteins.
The absence of complex proteins allows Bocouture to be highly stable even without the obligation of refrigeration. Sealed vials can be stored at room temperature (up to 25 degrees Celsius) for 3 years.
After recovery, up to 24 hours can be stored at 2-8 degrees Celsius.
This is a great advantage for doctor and patient: the doctor has no storage problems in the fridge and, when moving, can bring Bocouture comfortably with him. The patient is confident that the botulinum toxin will be effective and stable because he will not have run the risk of the cold chain interruption.

The use of botox in aesthetic medicine has proved, proves and will prove vital as it is an INSOSTITUIBILE TREATMENT.
You can’t hope to achieve the same effect by using peptide creams.
Surely skin care remains vital.

The botulinum toxin is NOT UNIDENTIFIED AS THE WORLD IF THE EXPERT AND BRAVI IN YOUR MESTIERE.

The advice is to rely on a good doctor, allowing himself to recommend the best treatment for our face.
It is the doctor who decides WHO AND WHAT TO DO, WHAT PRODUCT CHOOSE and THE TYPE OF TRAMENT MORE ADATTA TO YOUR HOUSE.

Remember that the botulinum toxin is only available to the doctor and that it is FACT BANION THE USE TO PERSONAL NOT ATTENTION.

ECCO THE SIRING MORE USED FOR BOTOX

SIRING SPACE 0 / saves botox / no dead space

This syringe has the peculiarity of not dispersing the substance inside it. Generally, a good part of the content is lost on the way, in the distance between plunger and last part of the needle.

we strongly recommend using these syringes to minimize the waste of botulinum toxin. The only flaw they have is the poor visibility of the tick marks and the non-performing handle.

On the market there are not many to sell this type of syringes.
